About SWOON

Where Exceptional Genetics Become the Next Generation

Founded in 2012, Swoon Nubians is a select Nubian breeding program located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Hye, Texas.

Our philosophy is simple: breed with purpose.

We carefully select genetics with an emphasis on beautiful Nubian breed character, structural correctness, strong and productive mammary systems, longevity, temperament, and the presence required to excel in the show ring. Every breeding is thoughtfully planned—not simply to produce the next kid crop, but to create a generation that moves the Swoon program forward.

Over the years, our herd has been built around genetics from some of the most respected and accomplished Nubian families in the breed. We continually evaluate pedigrees, performance, conformation and the strengths of each individual animal when planning the future of Swoon.

Herd health is an essential part of that commitment. Swoon maintains a CAE/CL-free, G6S Normal herd, allowing us to pair exceptional genetics with responsible herd management.

Today, Swoon is focused on producing a small number of exceptional Nubians for our own program and for breeders who share our appreciation for quality. Whether destined for the show ring, the milk stand, or the foundation of another breeding program, our goal remains the same:

Beautiful animals. Exceptional genetics. Purposeful breeding.

Nubians Worth Swooning Over.
